Grandmaster Lee passed away in Hong Kong after a short illness. As the most famous 7 Star Mantis teacher in the last 50 years his influence and teachings have spread far and wide. I have trained closely with my grandteacher for over 25 and the last time with him and my teacher in Hong Kong back was in November 2023. He was in good spirits, still strong as an Ox and graciously taught everyone in our group with kindness and sincerity.
Hi funeral takes place in Hong Kong on 23-24th March 2024 with several of his direct students and grand-students in attendance. For many of us it was not possible to attend so a representative has gone and donations for his family have been sent.
I am forever grateful for your teaching and friendship sigung, Rest in Peace and long live 7 Star Praying Mantis Boxing.
